Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing the absolute commercial peak of the British folk-rock ensemble, the album successfully merged their acoustic origins with bombastic, symphonic rock ambition. Driven by the massive union anthem 'Part of the Union' and the brooding 'Lay Down', the sessions were marked by intense internal conflicts that ultimately led to a major lineup fracture.
