Album Notes & Community Reviews

As Dave Cousins steered the band fully away from their traditional bluegrass roots, Strawbs delivered a breathtakingly lush, incredibly ambitious folk-rock masterpiece. 'Grave New World' is a beautifully melodic, fiercely progressive concept album, utilizing massive Mellotron arrangements and deeply spiritual mythology to create a wonderfully calm, highly eclectic atmosphere.
