Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as their transition to a major label, 'Equinox' refined Styx's ambitious blend of grand symphonic progressive rock and accessible, arena-ready hard rock. Buoyed by the success of the synthesizer-driven hit 'Lorelei,' the album perfectly captures their distinct multi-vocalist approach just prior to the addition of Tommy Shaw.
