Album Notes & Community Reviews
Boasting the monumental, stadium-igniting smash 'Come Sail Away', Styx achieved their ultimate commercial breakthrough by flawlessly smoothing their progressive edges. 'The Grand Illusion' is an incredibly triumphant, fiercely melodic AOR concept album, weaving deeply optimistic, heavily synthesized hard rock anthems with highly progressive, delightfully epic symphonic flourishes.
