Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by Doseone, the Oakland-based sextet fuses frantic, rapid-fire underground rap with dense, multi-layered indie rock instrumentation. The dizzying arrangements and deeply cryptic lyricism make it a landmark achievement in alternative hip-hop boundary-pushing. It remains a critically acclaimed highlight of the mid-2000s Anticon-adjacent abstract rap scene.
