Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sixth studio album by the New York death metal pioneers presents a noticeably slower, more groove-oriented approach to their incredibly technical, brutal sound. Opting for thick, mid-tempo slam riffs over constant hyper-speed blast beats, the record possesses a remarkably muscular, heavy production style that emphasizes Frank Mullen's iconic guttural vocals. It proved that the veteran act could adapt without losing their crushing extremity.
