Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second and final studio album from Bob Mould's post-H眉sker D眉 trio delivers a slightly softer, more polished take on their fiercely melodic alternative rock sound. Famously, Mould erased the entire initial recording session out of frustration, forcing the band to rapidly re-record the entire album from scratch, which ironically preserved its immediate, energetic feel.
