Album Notes & Community Reviews

An incredibly heavy, uncompromising debut from a new post-metal supergroup formed by Aaron Turner (Isis), drummer Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists), and bassist Brian Cook (Russian Circles). The towering compositions rely on immense, prolonged walls of down-tuned sludge metal intertwined with passages of tense, improvisational noise. It stands as a monolithic, challenging monument to extreme sonic volume.
