Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mark Kozelek strips his sound down to just nylon-string guitar and vocals on this starkly beautiful album. Influenced by Spanish classical guitar, the intricate playing provides a somber backdrop for his weary, reflective lyrics. It is a quiet, masterful display of musicianship and storytelling.
