Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing in the vein of his recent work, this album features long, monologue-driven songs over spare, often repetitive musical arrangements. The title is a nod to the $uicideboy$ album 'I Want to Die in New Orleans', reflecting Kozelek's engagement with contemporary culture. The lyrics are deeply personal and observational, touching on topics from his daily life to his relationships with other musicians and the media.
