Album Notes & Community Reviews

A stunning and otherworldly recording that showcases Sun Ra's pioneering work on electronic keyboards. The long, exploratory title track features Ra on the Hohner Clavinet, an instrument mostly associated with funk, which he uses to create strange, percussive, and sci-fi textures. It's a prime example of Sun Ra's unique 'space music' and his ability to create a universe entirely his own, blending acoustic free jazz with futuristic electronic soundscapes.
