Album Notes & Community Reviews
Anchored by a 22-minute title track, this session highlights the Arkestra's expanding improvisational vocabulary. Sun Ra utilizes space and dissonance, prompting his horn players鈥攊ncluding John Gilmore and Marshall Allen鈥攖o trade sparse, aggressive solos over a rolling, unpredictable rhythm section.
