Album Notes & Community Reviews

Despite originating in the Netherlands, this wildly eclectic debut flawlessly captured the quirky, fuzz-organ-dominated aesthetics of the British Canterbury Scene. Robert Jan Stips's dizzying keyboard runs and bizarre lyrical humor defined a highly complex, joyfully chaotic sound that profoundly differentiated them from the solemnity of mainstream progressive rock.
