Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sophomore album by the Dutch progressive quartet is a dazzling display of keyboard virtuosity and eccentric humor heavily inspired by the British Canterbury scene. Composed of extended, complex suites driven by Robert Jan Stips' fuzzed-out electric piano and synthesizer, the record perfectly balances rigorous technicality with bizarre, satirical lyricism. It is widely hailed as a towering achievement of European avant-prog.
