Album Notes & Community Reviews
The debut album from the New York-based instrumental quartet acts as a foundational text for the emerging 'ambient country' movement. The highly evocative record brilliantly utilizes pedal steel guitars, harmonicas, and baritone guitars heavily processed through looping pedals and synthesizers. The result is a gorgeously serene, cinematic soundtrack invoking the vast, empty landscapes of the American Southwest.
