Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as their first release following the departure of legendary frontman Brian Connolly, 'Cut Above the Rest' finds the remaining trio expanding their sonic palette. The band shifts away from glittery hard rock towards sophisticated AOR and subtle progressive pop, handling all vocal duties themselves. While commercially overshadowed by their earlier hits, it is regarded as a highly ambitious, musically mature effort.
