Album Notes & Community Reviews

With 'Desolation Boulevard', Sweet successfully shed their origins as a manufactured bubblegum-glam outfit, reclaiming creative control to produce a gritty, hard-rocking masterpiece. The album manages to balance their signature, massive vocal harmonies with dark, aggressive riffing and a manic, distinctly nihilistic glam-rock energy.
