Off the Record

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning away from the bubblegum singles of their early career, British quartet Sweet fully committed to a heavy, muscular rock aesthetic on 'Off the Record'. Produced during intensive studio sessions in London, the tracks boast elaborate vocal harmonies layered over aggressive, driving guitar riffs. The recording showcases the band's sophisticated musicianship and their pivotal role in bridging glam theatricality with the emerging power pop and heavy metal scenes.
