Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping out from her role as the frontwoman for The Internet, Syd delivers an incredibly slick, boastful solo debut. The record eschews the organic, live-band neo-soul of her group in favor of moody, 90s-inspired R&B and bass-heavy trap production. It successfully established her as an unapologetically confident, sexually liberated R&B powerhouse.
