Album Notes & Community Reviews
Channeling personal loss into massive, atmospheric soundscapes, Kathrine Shepard's fourth album pushes the emotional extremes of the blackgaze subgenre. The Norwegian artist seamlessly alternates between angelic, ethereal vocal melodies and visceral, agonizing shrieks over walls of distorted post-metal guitars.
