Sylvaine

Biography

Sylvaine is the solo project of Norwegian multi-instrumentalist and composer Kathrine Shepard, founded in Oslo in 2013. Shepard performs almost everything herself, singing and playing guitar and keyboards, across four studio albums for #Season of Mist#, from the self-released debut 'Silent Chamber, Noisy Heart' (2014) through 'Wistful', 'Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone' and 'Nova' (2022), blending ambient post-metal, blackgaze, shoegaze and Norwegian folk influences into intensely personal songs.
