Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced entirely by Marc Bolan following his split with longtime collaborator Tony Visconti, 'Bolan's Zip Gun' captures T. Rex attempting to integrate heavy American funk influences into their fading glam-rock empire. Though critically derided upon release for its raw, overdriven production and bizarre lyrical tangents, it has since been reassessed as a quirky, futuristic cult classic.
