Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marc Bolan bravely expanded his unstoppable glam-rock formula, incorporating heavy soul influences, female backing vocals, and surprisingly lush instrumentation. 'Tanx' is a wonderfully playful, fiercely rhythmic rock and roll triumph, retaining the band's intensely energetic, unapologetically sexual swagger while pushing toward a significantly more polished, highly melodic studio sound.
