Album Notes & Community Reviews

Completely abandoning their legendary deathrock and hardcore punk origins, the Long Beach band embraced a heavily hairsprayed, commercial hard rock sound. 'Hit and Run' is drenched in sleaze rock aesthetics, big choruses, and glam metal production values aimed directly at late-eighties MTV. The drastic stylistic reinvention severely alienated their original fanbase while achieving only moderate commercial success.
