God's Balls

by Tad

God's Balls cover art

Easily one of the heaviest and most abrasive albums to emerge from the early Seattle scene, Tad's debut was produced by grunge architect Jack Endino. The band utilizes incredibly dense, detuned guitars and lumbering, sludge-metal rhythms to create an overwhelmingly aggressive wall of noise. It perfectly encapsulates the gritty, blue-collar nihilism that defined the original Sub Pop roster.
