Biography
Tad were an American grunge band from Seattle, formed in 1988 by singer and guitarist Tad Doyle with bassist Kurt Danielson. One of the first bands signed to #Sub Pop Records#, they stood out in the Seattle scene for a heavy 1970s metal influence, on albums including 'God's Balls' (1989), '8-Way Santa' (1991) and the major label release 'Inhaler' (1993). Despite cult acclaim and relentless touring, commercial success eluded them and the band split in 1999.
