Appa

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Bhutanese-born acoustic guitarist delivers a staggering, deeply unconventional exploration of free improvisation and American Primitivism. 'Appa' heavily utilizes incredibly sharp, percussive guitar strikes and rapid, atonal runs that completely disregard traditional western melodic structures. The instrumental album is a wonderfully raw, highly abstract, and profoundly avant-garde exhibition of solo musicianship.
