Faint

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The founder of the highly influential 12k label utilizes an almost entirely analog setup for this remarkably quiet, intimately textured solo release. Focusing heavily on the tactile sounds of his equipment, the album incorporates the hum of tape noise and the clicking of synthesizer keys directly into its glacial, minimalist drone compositions. It stands as a profoundly peaceful, microscopic auditory examination of electronic sound creation.
