Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking his debut as a bandleader, 'Plenty of Horn' features trumpeter Ted Curson shortly after his high-profile tenure with Charles Mingus. The session highlights his distinctively bright, piercing tone and showcases a transitional approach that bridges driving hard bop with more open, exploratory post-bop structures.
