Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their definitive transition from acoustic folk to polished, synthesizer-inflected indie rock, the twin sisters deliver their commercial and critical breakthrough. The record expertly balances new wave influences and energetic power-pop hooks with intensely personal, highly anxious lyricism regarding heartbreak and isolation.
