Biography
Tegan and Sara is a Canadian indie pop duo of identical twins Tegan and Sara Quin, formed in Calgary in 1995. Their confessional songwriting carried them from indie rock — 'So Jealous', 'The Con' — to the synth-pop of 'Heartthrob'. They published the joint memoir 'High School' in 2019 and run the LGBTQ+-focused Tegan and Sara Foundation. The twins have been outspoken activists throughout their career.
