Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing their tongue-in-cheek subversion of electronic music tropes, the Belgian trio reunited with Sparks via Ron and Russell Mael's lyrical contributions. 'Sex' presents a highly synthetic, deadpan exploration of disco and electro, layering vocoders and rigid sequencers to create a distinctly European dance record. The album highlights their delightfully absurd, intellectual approach to pop structure.
