Album Notes & Community Reviews

Retreating from the slight pop-oriented polish of their preceding hit 'Space in Time', the veteran British blues-rockers returned to a much rawer, high-energy boogie sound. Alvin Lee's signature, lightning-fast guitar work dominates the record, supported by a thick, unadorned rhythm section across a series of straightforward rockers. It captures the unpretentious, high-volume energy that originally made them festival legends.
