Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shedding the monochromatic alternative rock of their debut, the Manchester quartet fully embraces maximalist, neon-lit 1980s synth-pop and sprawling ambient interludes. The absurdly long-titled sophomore album is an ambitious, self-indulgent dive into frontman Matty Healy's neuroses, ego, and romantic entanglements. It topped charts globally, marking their transformation into a defining, arena-sized pop spectacle.
