Album Notes & Community Reviews

With production handled by Killswitch Engage's Adam Dutkiewicz, 'The Dead Walk' significantly amplified the crushing heaviness of the Massachusetts extreme metal act. The album relies on aggressively down-tuned, chugging guitar riffs and impossibly dense, downtempo breakdowns that helped define the burgeoning deathcore genre. Its misanthropic, angry lyrical content and bouncy grooves made it a staple release for the mid-2000s hardcore scene.
