Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking their formal introduction to the metal scene, 'Once Only Imagined' highlights the Canadian group's aggressive blend of melodic metalcore and death metal. The recording is notably driven by the dynamic vocal performances of Alissa White-Gluz, alternating rapidly between fierce growls and soaring clean melodies. The energetic and politically charged lyricism immediately established them as a forceful new presence in heavy music[cite: 4].
