Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking their major-label debut, the North Carolina siblings teamed up with legendary producer Rick Rubin to heavily refine their scrappy, acoustic bluegrass origins. The album introduces grand piano arrangements, sweeping strings, and polished rock drums, resulting in incredibly sincere, stadium-sized Americana anthems dealing heavily with existential growth and romantic reflection. The record catapulted them to massive mainstream success.
