Biography
The Avett Brothers are a United States folk rock band from Concord, North Carolina, formed in 2000 by brothers Scott Avett, on banjo and vocals, and Seth Avett, on guitar and vocals. With bassist Bob Crawford and cellist Joe Kwon, the group fuses bluegrass, country, folk and punk energy, first on #Ramseur Records# releases such as 'Emotionalism' and then, with producer *Rick Rubin*, on 'I and Love and You', 'The Carpenter' and 'True Sadness' for #American Recordings#. Their intense, harmony-driven concerts made them Americana festival favourites.
