Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally formed with an obsession for 1960s beach culture intersecting with punk energy, the group's early output contrasts bright, harmony-driven pop hooks with surprisingly bleak and morbid lyrical fixations. The record serves as a pivotal bridge connecting the raw aesthetic of 1970s garage revivals to the emerging power-pop sensibilities of the ensuing decade.
