Album Notes & Community Reviews

After a period of internal band tension and abandoned recording sessions, The Black Crowes returned with a remarkably straightforward and highly polished rock record[cite: 1]. Abandoning the psychedelic and jam-band explorations of their previous two albums, 'By Your Side' strictly focuses on concise, soul-infused blues rock and southern hard rock anthems[cite: 1].
