Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released internationally as 'Kingdom of Life' (and domestically in Czech as 'Nov谩 synt茅za'), this project pairs the heavy, guitar-driven sound of The Blue Effect with the sweeping arrangements of the Czechoslovak Radio Jazz Orchestra[cite: 1]. The album masterfully balances gritty blues-rock riffing with complex, brass-heavy jazz-rock fusion[cite: 1]. It remains a monumental achievement of progressive rock navigating the cultural constraints of the Eastern Bloc[cite: 1].
