Album Notes & Community Reviews
The self-titled debut from the Missouri outfit injected a much-needed dose of blue-collar grit into the burgeoning alternative country scene. By combining the narrative songwriting of traditional country with the ragged, amplified energy of southern rock, the band established a definitive sound for the midwestern Americana movement.
