Album Notes & Community Reviews

Expanding slightly beyond the lo-fi constraints of their C86 origins, the Bristol indie outfit delivered a jangly, hyper-melodic, and remarkably energetic collection. The prominent inclusion of bright trumpet lines and Davey Woodward's wry, rapid-fire vocals solidified their reputation as one of the era's most charming, unsung guitar-pop bands.
