Biography
The Brilliant Corners were a Bristol indie pop band formed in 1983 by Davey Woodward, Chris Galvin, Winston Forbes, Bob Morris and Dan Pacini. Jangle pop with trumpet, UK indie chart singles and albums from 'Growing Up Absurd' to 'A History of White Trash' carried them through a decade before they split in 1993. Their literate, trumpet-flecked guitar pop remains a cult favourite of the British independent era, later celebrated by a comprehensive retrospective collection.
