Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by the legendary Quincy Jones, this third studio album is a remarkably crisp masterclass in late-70s funk and R&B. 'Blam!!' highlights Louis Johnson's revolutionary slap-bass technique and features sophisticated, synth-heavy arrangements that successfully bridged the gap between jazz-pop and the disco dance floor.
