Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Swedish quintet secured massive international recognition with their sophomore release, propelled heavily by the international hit single 'Carnival'. Combining pristine, 1960s-inspired lounge pop with remarkably intricate chamber arrangements, the upbeat aesthetic sharply masks an underlying current of Scandinavian melancholy. Its polished, wildly successful execution positioned them at the forefront of the mid-90s easy-listening revival.
