Take Care. It's a Desert Out There...

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released during the six-part 'Everywhere at the End of Time' project, Leyland Kirby offered this single-track, 48-minute album as a tribute to Mark Fisher, the influential cultural theorist who passed away earlier that year. The audio abandons the crackling 1920s ballroom samples characteristic of the moniker in favor of overwhelming, pitch-black drone textures. The recording serves as a profoundly bleak, funereal meditation on death and loss.
