Album Notes & Community Reviews

Absolutely dripping with sleazy, downtown New York swagger, The Chrome Cranks deliver a terrifyingly intense, heavily distorted blast of punk-blues on 'Dead Cool'. The album is characterized entirely by its abrasive, overdriven slide-guitar riffs and Peter Aaron's manic, highly predatory vocal snarl. It stands today as a fiercely uncompromising, intensely nocturnal classic of the 90s garage-trash revival.
