Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Heyday' significantly broadens The Church's neo-psychedelic sound, incorporating lush string and horn arrangements into their signature, chiming guitar interplay. Steve Kilbey's poetic, slightly surreal lyricism floats over highly melodic, atmospheric jangle-pop structures. The record captures a deeply bittersweet, energetic transition as the band refined their dreamy approach toward global accessibility.
