Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Church's third album significantly deepens their sound into a profoundly atmospheric, ethereal blend of jangle pop and emerging neo-psychedelia. Swathed in heavy studio reverb, the intertwining Rickenbacker guitars create a beautifully bittersweet, moody backdrop for Steve Kilbey鈥檚 highly poetic, cryptic lyricism. 'Seance' is a remarkably passionate, melodic foundation for their later dream-pop triumphs.
